I wanted to piece a quick quilt, so I found some luscious blues and browns and started whacking away. I think I need more fabric variety, though, as I am having a hard time putting blocks together without the same fabrics in them. Oh darn, time for more shopping.
We spotted the deer in the yard this morning before I left for work. The mother deer looks like one of her front legs is broken. She’s holding it up, and it’s beng at an odd angle. Her babies were with her in the back yard, eating apples that had fallen off the tree. It sure pains me to see any animal hurt, but I’m not sure what – if anything – could be done to help her. If you have any ideas, please let me know!
Off to watch Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy!
So far so good, but darn you need to go shopping… in a quilt store no doubt!?! LOL! Have fun!>Poor mama dear… 8-(>Happy stitchings!
