I have had my eye on the traditional quilt pattern called “Snail’s Trail” for many years now, but have never tried it. I love the simple two colors, and how something as simple as a small pile of triangles can turn into something so cool.

The purple and yellow block shown here is from http://www.sewquilty.com/, and you can find the directions for a 12 inch block here. There is also a video showing how to put it together here.

For a fabulous selection of great Snail’s Trail quilts, check out Google Images. I love to go to Google Images and do a search for a quilt pattern I am interested in. It automatically brings up a ton of great variations of style and color. Try it!

Looking ahead at the
