I have had my eye on the traditional quilt pattern called “Snail’s Trail” for many years now, but have never tried it. I love the simple two colors, and how something as simple as a small pile of triangles can turn into something so cool. Looking ahead at the B.O.M. Calendar for March
For our March block, we are going to do something with the Snail’s Trail pattern. You will need:
- 1/4 yard green fabric
- 1/4 yard white (or white on white) fabric
- 1/8 yard solid orange fabric
- White thread
- Orange embroidery floss to match fabric

You know, I have see the Snail's Trails block before and thought it was interesting, but I guess I never envisioned how it would look as a quilt. I LOVE the houndstooth check look of it! What a cool pattern. I'm going to remember this one.
