Decisions: I am a Participant

Caron-Baby

Susan Lenz is a talented artist.  Working in fiber, she is creating a series of portraits for an exhibit to be held at City Gallery at Waterfront Park in Charleston, SC scheduled for September 10 through October 10, 2010.

Susan’s large installation is called PERSONAL GROUNDS.  She has contacted individuals from all walks of life to be models for her artwork.  These images are meant to show important and everyday decisions.  I am blessed to be a part of this.  Follow her blog to keep an eye on the progress as this exhibit comes to fruition.

Hmmmm… what decision will I be representing?

Leave your guess in the comments area, below.  When my portrait and decision are revealed, I will send the person with the best guess a special gift.  If more than one person guesses correctly, I will select the winner at random.  It’s all a mystery!

  1. Hi!
Thanks so very, very much for posting this! I'm still looking for several “models”! I won't “guess” because I know the decision and can't wait to stitch it! I've just returned from a weekend at the Wayne Center for the opening of Art Quilt Elements 2010. I've got a piece in it! There was a SAQA seminar on Saturday. This was my first experience with SAQA….what a marvelous organization! Thanks again!

  2. I would say that your contributions to quilting and getting people involved in the process would make an interesting photo in fabric. Can't wait to see what you decide to do.
