This picture is pretty blurry. It was taken last September through the window and screen of our sliding glass door that looks out on our back yard. You can see we had some visitors, which is why I used my Blackberry to take the photo. Do you see the bench in the photo? If I had a more clear picture for you to look at, you’d see that the wood was getting all rotten, the wrought iron was looking dismal… and it wasn’t very inviting to sit on.
Jump ahead to this morning.
This is the same bench. The Woodworker asked me about a month ago what I wanted for Mother’s Day, and I asked if he could replace the wood in my garden bench. It was easier said than done, but he IS “The Woodworker.” He also painted the bench a soft mossy green, and love it!!! We took the truck to his workshop downtown Flushing and I helped him bring it home.
Now to work on the garden. It needs flowers and less Artemisia.
You can click on the photos to enlarge them (but the top photo will still be blurry).
I bet you wish YOU had a talented Woodworker living in YOUR home. Sorry, mine is spoken for!
I do wish I had a woodworker available – my hubby can do that stuff (not as good as yours) but he never has time! Too many projects plus he is working full time right now. He would rather sit in front of the computer LOL
