Did you read my post “Looking for Polka Pots” ???
My granddaughter Samantha likes pink and purple, but this is going to be a multi-color quilt. I went shopping for fabric and came up with some I love. I’m still looking though…I didn’t want them all the same size, and I wanted them to be fun polka pots!
What do you think for the background? It’s going to be a pinwheel pattern with alternating plain blocks. Opinions? Please share in the comment section below! I’d love to hear from you.
I would love to make a quilt all of polka dot fabric but that would add to my stash which is already too large. Sigh. I will just have to enjoy yours.

I would make all the pinwheels out of polka dots and use a ivory or cream, so all the polka dots show up.

The dots that you suggested are just plain fun! It's delightful. See McCalls Quick Quilts August/September 2011. There is a really cute and clever pinwheel quilt.

That's going to be a very fun quilt! I'd audition various-colored solids for the background, see what color works with all of them without washing out some of the pinwheels. The first colors I'd try would be pink or purple!
