Double Irish Chain Progress

I spent some time working on the new quilt today; it was cold outside, so it was a good day to work on this.  However, my sewing machine is in the basement, and it was chilly down there, so I didn’t stay too long.  These two sections need to be sewn together in the middle, but a hot cup of tea was calling so that didn’t get done.
It was warmer sitting in front of my computer, so I played with the colors on my blog’s background, and inserted a new blog header image.  Those are the fabrics for my next quilt (after the Irish Chain).

An adorable block with lots of tiny pieces… Amazing!

Battlefield also by Nancy Marchinowski
Wow, Nancy must have used a magnifying glass to sew these two blocks!
